AVAILABLE TRAINING:
During
the last few years, the diving world has undergone many changes.
The sport has never been more popular. Equipment advances in comfort
and performance coupled with better access to locales and an increasing
desire for environmentally focused leisure activities have all helped
bolster popularity. With these advancements, however, the philosophy
of training has suffered some adverse changes in some circles. Adequate
training is based on creating optimized personal learning experiences
in real environments that stress acquired skill mastery and continuous
improvement.
Training never ends.
The courses offered by Tekblau
are exclusively conducted one-on-one or with very small groups,
and are based on international safety and learning standards. All
earned certifications are awarded under the auspice of internationally
acknowledged training agencies with many years of experience in
the international diving community: IANTD, PADI and NACD. The following
is an orientation and description of some of the courses offered.
Course duration is not noted, as this varies with student experience,
preparation and will. Prices are based on minimum standards for
each individual course.

BASIC NITROX
Objective: Learn how to use and understand
air mixes enriched with oxygen (up to 40%) for recreational use.
Number of dives: 2
|
|
DEEP AIR DIVER
Objective: Planning and execution of
safe dives up to 39 m/130 ft. Learn to understand and practice decompression
procedures, multiple gas exits (with double tanks or stage bottles).
Learn about decompression theory, equipment configuration, nitrogen
narcosis, hypothermia, advanced dive planning etc.
Number of dives: 4

|
ADVANCED NITROX DIVER
Objective: Planning and execution of
safe dives up to 39 m/130 ft. Increase knowledge of oxygen and its
limitations, as well as the use of mixes upto 50% for accelerated
decompression. More in-depth concentration on decompression, nitrogen
narcosis, carbon dioxide, equipment configuration, oxygen toxicity
and advanced dive planning.
Number of dives: 4

|
TECHNICAL DIVER
Objectivo: Create divers that can safely
dive between 30m/100 ft and 51 m/170 ft with technical equipment.
Understanding and use of bottom and deco-mixes. Use of 100% oxygen
for decompression. A larger and in depth understanding of the decompression
theory, nitrogen narcosis, carbon dioxide, equipment configuration,
oxygen toxicity and advanced dive planning.
Number of dives: 6

OVERHEAD ENVIRONMENT/CAVERN DIVER
Objective: Train divers to safely dive
in an environment where there is no direct access to the surface,
using line techniques and gas management. One of the basic standards
for this level requires the student to stay within the daylight
zone of the cave. This is the first level of cavediving. Subjects
like gas management, reel and line use, equipment, the process of
formation of the caves, communication and emergency procedures will
be developed during this course.
Number of dives: 4
|
|
INTRO TO CAVE DIVER
Objective: Create safe divers capable
of undertaking limited penetration cave dives, avoiding restrictions
or complex lines. Practice of emergency procedures inside the cave,
lights-out drills, etc.. Theory of communications, cave formation,
dive planning, etc.
Number of dives: 4
|
|
CAVE DIVER
Objective: Training for divers to safely
dive the wonderful world of the underwater caves. In this course
you learn to safely execute deeper penetrations with full navigation
including loops, circuits, t-sections and traverses. Application
of concepts like dive planning, gas management, decompression theory
and procedures, equipment configuration, conservation, emergency
procedures, advanced dive communication, etc...
Number of dives: 8

|
TECHNICAL CAVE DIVER
Objective: Train divers to safely dive the caves with more in-depth
information and learning suitable for the level of a technical cavediver.
Number of dives: 8
